The 25th annual Salesian Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, May 2 at the Richmond Country Club, the school announced Tuesday.

Proceeds from the event will support scholarships for disadvantaged students to attend the highly regarded school.

Local residents stand to benefit, as more than 60-percent of Salesian students live in Richmond and San Pablo, the school says.

“This year’s tournament promises to be the best yet, and we welcome all players and guests to enjoy a beautiful day of golf and camaraderie on one of the Bay Area’s best courses,” said tournament director Henry Moe.

The silver anniversary program features 18 holes of premier golf, complimentary beverages on the course, boxed lunch and buffet dinner, golf contests, raffles, and silent and live auctions, according to the school.

Player’s fee is $195 and registration is now open at www.salesian.com/golftournament. Foursomes are available at a discounted rated, and sponsorship packages are available by contacting Henry Moe at hmoe@salesian.com.
