The Richmond Art Center is inviting the community to a free event that is great for kids of all ages.

At 1 p.m., kids accompanied by adults are encouraged to meet in the Madeline F. Whittlesey Room in the Richmond Public Library, 325 Civic Center Plaza. There, they will begin with a story, and then move onto an art-making project. After that, families will be offered a guided tour of the galleries at the Art Center.

The event concludes at 2 p.m.

For groups of 6 or more kids, please call in advance at 510.620.6772. Otherwise, no registration is required.

And if you can’t make it this Saturday, no worries. This workshop takes place on the last Saturday of every month.
