UPDATE: The family sends a heartfelt thank you. The dogs are now safe at home. They thank the guardian angels in the community for providing updates on the dogs’ whereabouts on the Richmond Standard Facebook page. All morning, community members wrote in to say they spotted the dogs. After their tips, the dogs were located at the Richmond BART station.

A Richmond resident is asking neighbors for help locating her two dogs who got out from her home on 9th Street near Ripley Avenue on Wednesday and haven’t returned.

They got out about 8:30 p.m., the neighbor said. There was some good news about the search this morning at around 5:45 a.m., when one of the resident’s neighbors spotted the dogs at the Richmond BART station.

“I’m here right now looking for them, but I don’t see them,” she said.

If anyone sees these beautiful dogs or knows where they are, please contact newstips@richmondstandard.com.
