As we’ve reported, the memorial service for Richmond Police Officer Augustine “Gus” Vegas, who was killed in a domestic violence incident inside his Vallejo home on Feb. 11, will be held Friday morning at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium, 403 Civic Center Plaza.
A public service starts at 10 a.m. Parking will be limited, so folks are asked to arrive early. A burial and reception takes place after the service but is only for family, friends and law enforcement personnel.
