The Up and Under Pub & Grill in Point Richmond is hosting a Mardi Gras party today, with guest chef Ed McGrath serving up the celebration’s traditional foods.
And there’s a very good reason to celebrate Mardi Gras with vigor in Richmond.
“A large number of Creole an Cajun folks moved to Richmond during WWII,” McGrath told us. “They brought with them their traditions and food. This continues today at the Mardi Gras party at the Up and Under in Point Richmond. I will be the guest chef. Please join us starting at noon.”
