The Richmond Museum of History is inviting the community to a dinner fundraiser and silent auction on Jan. 29 aimed at supporting programs and operations of the museum and on the SS Red Oak Victory ship.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Galileo Club at 371 S. 23rd St. in Richmond. The cost is $45 per person or $350 for a table of eight.

The fundraiser includes a silent auction, historical photo exhibit and a no-host bar at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. Meal options include roast beef or roasted pork loin entrees.

Auction items such as memorabilia were provided by interesting organizations including the San Francisco 49ers, Golden State Warriors, San Jose Sharks, San Francisco Giants, Disneyland, Sonoma Raceway, Masquers Playhouse and California Academy of Sciences.
