The community is invited to the Richmond RYSE Center’s Annual Winter Wonderland holiday celebration on Saturday, when families can enjoy food, music, fun activities such as arts and crafts and tree decorating, and also a toy and shirt giveaway.

The free event takes place from noon to 3 p.m. at the RYSE Center, 205 41st St. in Richmond.

Several hundred toys will be handed out to children from newborns to 12 years old on a first come, first serve basis.  Also, a special edition t-shirt will be handed out for young people between ages 13 and 21 while supplies last.

“The purpose of this event is to bring communities together and support youth and their families in celebrating the holiday season,” according to the RYSE Center.
