Richmond native Travis Feeney is continuing to put together a spectacular senior season with the University of Washington.

On Monday, it was announced that the Huskies linebacker and Pinole Valley High alum was named the Pac-12’s Defensive Player of the Week for a second time this season.

Last weekend, the outside linebacker helped Washington’s defense hold high-powered Arizona to only three points, or 38.8 points below its season average, in a 49-3 win. Feeney recorded 11 tackles, including nine solo tackles and 4.5 tackles-for-losses. He also forced two fumbles and had two sacks.

Quarterback Vernon Adams, Jr., of Oregon, was named the conference’s Offensive Player of the Week while kick returner Charles Nelson of Oregon was named special teams Player of the Week.

Feeney was also named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week following a similarly stellar performance last month against USC. Here’s a post-game interview from when he won that honor:
