A 71-year-old Richmond woman was struck and killed by an Amtrak train last week, authorities said.

Ilona Burpee was struck about 3:30 p.m. Thursday near Giant Road and Par Court, where there is no rail crossing, according to Union Pacific Railroad and Amtrak officials. The Google mapping image shows an approximate location where the incident occurred.

The train had been carrying 60 passengers at the time and none were injured, according to Amtrak.
