Flames raged in the produce aisle as Richmond firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze early Monday at the Mi Tierra Super Mercardo at 516 23rd St., between Barrett and Roosevelt avenues.

A firefighter wearing a helmet cam filmed parts of the battle. The video, filmed in order to assist in firefighting training, shows what rescue crews face when they handle a significant incident.

No one was injured in the fire, which was reported at 1:55 a.m. and brought under control about two hours later. It is believed the fire began on the second floor and that the first floor sustained water damage, Usher said. A cause of the fire hasn’t been revealed.
