Two people were injured in a shooting in Richmond Monday morning, police said.

The incident occurred at about 11:15 a.m. in the 600 block of 18th Street, Lt. Andre Hill said.

Few details were immediately available about the incident, but Hill told us the victims’ injuries were not considered life threatening and that no suspects were in custody.

The streets were closed for several hours for the police investigation, a reader told us.
