Authorities are seeking two suspects in connection with a homicide in North Richmond Thursday night — the second killing in the neighborhood this week.

Guillermo Sanchez, 21, and Lamont Patterson, 19, are sought in the death of Isela Moreno, 23, at a home in the 400 block of Market Avenue, officials said.

Contra Costa County sheriff’s deputies responded at 6:44 p.m. to a disturbance in the 400 block of Market Street, where they found Moreno inside the home, sheriff’s officials said. He was soon after declared deceased. Few other details have been released.

On Tuesday, only several blocks away from Thursday’s homicide scene, 45-year-old Daron Andrews was shot and killed and two other people were injured in a drive-by shooting in the 1500 block of 5th Street.

It’s not clear whether the incidents were related and no arrests have been reported.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact detectives at (925) 313-2632. Anonymous tips can be made to or (866) 846-3592.
