On the 10th anniversary of the murder of 18-year-old Mark Johnigan, the Richmond Police Department is offering a $35,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect.

At 5 p.m. Monday, a gathering will be held at the site of the homicide in the 900 block of Triangle Court, where the Richmond High alum was shot multiple times on Oct. 18, 2005.

“His senseless killing is as devastating to his family today as when it first occurred,” police said in a Facebook post. “We need to bring them closure.”

Anyone with information about Johnigan’s death should call Det. Sergeant Eric Smith at (510) 620-6647. To remain anonymous, call (510) 232-TIPS ( 8477).
