The Salesian College Preparatory varsity football team is ranked 15th in the latest poll of all North Coast Section (NCS) teams by Prep2Prep.

The Pride, who won their fourth NCS Division V title in five years last year after finishing 12-1, started off strong last week after trouncing Jesse Bethel High 57-9 (the photo above, originally posted on the school’s Twitter account, was taken at the game).

Prep2Prep said the Pride went untested against Bethel.

“Quarterback Jaylen Tregle tossed five touchdown passes in the first half alone, three of them to Dewayne Dixon,” the website noted.

On Friday, Salesian hosts Middletown, which finished 8-4 last year.
