With single-game tickets for Golden State Warriors games going on sale starting Wednesday, the team is warning fans about purchasing tickets from a non-verified third party.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets directly from the team by visiting or by calling (888) 479-4667. The tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the team said.

Last season, some 1,650 fans were denied entrance to Oracle Arena due to counterfeit tickets purchased from third-party vendors. Fans wanting to purchase resale tickets are encouraged to do so through the Warriors’ officials resale marketplace, where ticket holders and other fans can resell tickets that are guaranteed by the Warriors organization.
