This sounds like an epic party for anyone, let alone dog owners.
The Milo Foundation, the nonprofit operating a 5,000-square-foot animal adoption center in Point Richmond and 283 acre animal sanctuary in Mendocino, is inviting the local community to its 21st Anniversary Party at Assemble restaurant at 1414 Harbour Way South in Richmond. The event, which takes place Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., doubles as a fundraiser for the organization.
Aside from Assemble’s creative menu, the party will offer doggie valets, a dog pageant, games and wine toss. A no-host bar will serve fine wines and beer, and attendees will also enjoy Hog Island Oysters, a dessert dash and more, according to Milo Foundation.
And of course, you and your dog will enjoy incredible Bay views from Assemble’s waterfront location.
Milo Foundation has much to celebrate this year. Along with rescuing 26,000-plus animals since its inception, the nonprofit has made significant physical improvements at its Point Richmond center. Since moving there, as we’ve reported, the nonprofit installed modern kennels and dog park, among other enhancements. The foundation says it has received much help from volunteer builders and dog walkers, including employees from the neighboring Chevron Richmond Refinery.
Tickets to the fundraiser party are $100. To order yours, visit here.
