A Richmond family is set to appear in an episode of Family Feud with Steve Harvey on Sept. 18, and plans to make the show’s airing a community event.
The Muccular family has invited community members to watch the show in the Bermuda Room at Richmond Memorial Auditorium. The family hasn’t been told the exact time when their appearance will air, so they are holding the event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Ryan and Kevin Muccular of Richmond are owners of That’s My Dog, a well-known and highly rated gourmet food truck business that had its grand opening in 2013 with a ribbon-cutting attended by Richmond City Manager Bill Lindsay. Kevin Muccular also works as a life coach for the city, mentoring at-risk youth.
That’s My Dog will be onsite at the Bermuda Room Sept. 18. The Muccular family will also present a slideshow of photos from their appearance on Family Feud and discuss their experience.
“We don’t know what they will cut out, but in Family Feud we definitely represented Richmond,” said Ryan Muccular, a culinary arts and hospitality expert who runs That’s My Dog on a full-time basis. “Steve asked a lot of questions about the city. Kevin explained his work with the city, and we were able to talk about That’s My Dog and its birth through the City of Richmond.”
Ryan Muccular said the family would “love for everybody to come out and take a look.”
