San Francisco police are trying to locate a Richmond woman in connection with the theft of more than $35,000 in valuables from a home she rented through Airbnb.

Jana Dominquez, 27, of Richmond, is suspected of breaking into a locked office and closet that are not supposed to be accessible to renters and stealing the valuables. Police identified her through surveillance video they say clearly shows her in the office and also inside a shop below the rental, which is located on Judah Street and 27th Avenue in the Outer Sunset.

Dominquez, who has an active felony warrant for 2nd degree burglary and falsely impersonating another person, reportedly booked the unit on Airbnb Apr. 27. The owner of the unit did not realize the theft had occurred until later, reporting it to police on June 8.

Anyone with information regarding Dominquez is encouraged to contact Sgt. Jesse Farrell at (415) 759-3100.
