A 44-year-old El Cerrito woman who had participated in a Zumba class at El Cerrito Community Center on Sunday was arrested on suspicion of DUI after attempting to leave the center, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the community center at 7007 Moeser Lane after others at the community center suspected the woman was intoxicated, police said. When they arrived, the officers said they found the woman in her vehicle attempting to leave.

“Officers performed field sobriety tests and determined the woman was intoxicated,” police said.

She was arrested, booked and released to her husband.
