A fire ravaged a home in North Richmond Thursday morning.

The fully-involved blaze was reported in the 400 block of Market Avenue between 4th and 5th streets at 6:17 a.m. It was knocked down by firefighters at 6:54 a.m., according to a Contra Costa Fire Protection District dispatcher.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. There appears to be no injuries connected to the blaze, although we’re still seeking confirmation on that from Contra Costa Fire. The dispatcher told us that no injuries were reported to the call center. Also, the owner of a liquor store across the street from the scene of the blaze said he believes two people were living inside the damaged property and added neither was injured.
