San Pablo residents are being asked to vote on one of two murals that will be erected at the new Rumrill Sports Park, which is expected to open this fall.

The image receiving the most votes will be installed at the park located at 1509 Rumrill Blvd. Residents can also join San Pablo’s team of artists as they install the new mural by registering online here.

See proposed images of the mural below.

The above photo of Rumrill Sports Park was published in June by SPRINTTURF, the company that installed the turf. The park, being built upon a former Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railroad Corporation yard that was sold to the city, will feature three youth soccer fields, a smaller practice field for youth leagues, pick-up games and practice. Other amenities include picnic, BBQ and play areas, an office and restrooms.

  1. Our organization was first to apply for new sports facilities. But for some strange reason our application was revoke. With little to no explanation. Our program consist of 200 kids ages 5-15 boy’s & girl’s football and cheer. We have no field to practice on and season started July 27, 2015 we waiting to see who will help us. Where a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization thank you for listen. Athletic Director: Andre L. Williams Sr.
