It’ll be easy to stay awake in Richmond on Sunday, when Catahoula Coffee is set to host its annual customer appreciation day festival featuring free coffee, a car meet, petting zoo and live music.

The sixth annual “Party in the Parking Lot” runs from 9 a.m. to early afternoon at 12472 San Pablo Ave., the multi-award-winning coffee company announced Tuesday.

All community members are invited to the party, where local artists Michael Van and The Movers will perform from about 10 a.m. to noon.

And if you can’t make it Sunday, you could attend a separate customer appreciation day that Catahoula Coffee has scheduled for Saturday at its Berkeley location, 2080 4th St.
