The Fairfield Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Timothy James Mitchell III, who is suspected in connection with a murder in its city last year.

Mitchell, known to frequent both Fairfield and Richmond, is described as a black male, 24, standing 5-feet-11,  weighing 205 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Mitchell’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Fairfield Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit at (707)428-7600, the 24-hour Tip Line at (707) 428-7345 or Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-7867. Callers can remain anonymous.
