A Richmond resident was one of two suspects arrested Thursday in connection with a shooting last month on westbound Interstate Highway 80 that caused no injuries, but sent a bullet through a driver’s jacket hood, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The shooting near San Pablo Dam Road about 10:30 p.m. on June 3 sent bullets flying into a Pontiac Grand Am containing two people, CHP said. Responding officers found the vehicle with multiple bullet holes.
CHP said an extensive investigation led to arrest warrants, which were executed without incident on Thursday.
The alleged shooter, identified as Maurice Black, 26, of Vallejo, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder, while Tylisa Robinson, 26, of Richmond was arrested on suspicion of two counts of conspiracy to commit murder.
They were booked at Martinez Detention Facility on $1 million warrants.
