Contra Costa ARC—a nonprofit organization working to enhance and enrich the lives of children with special needs and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities—is hiring.
The nonprofit is in need of an administrative assistant at its George Miller Center in Richmond. The full-time position calls for 37.5 hours per week Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and offers a full salary and benefit package.
Job responsibilities include providing backup to the administrative coordinator; various general clerical and administrative duties; and overseeing inventory, placing online orders and coordinating incoming deliveries. The candidate must also meet state licensing requirements and pass Department of Justice clearance.
