32-year-old man survives drive-by shooting in Iron Triangle

23rd Street fight turns fatal

A 32-year-old man was shot in the chest in a drive-by shooting in the Iron Triangle neighborhood Tuesday night, police said.

The shooting occurred about 8 p.m. on 7th Street between Lincoln and Lucas avenues, Richmond police Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said.

Someone in a white sedan fired multiple shots at a man standing out on the street, Abetkov said. He suffered a bullet wound to the chest and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
