By Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia,
I hope you’ll join me at an open house at Fire Station #70 this Saturday, where we’ll get to tour a brand new EMS Squad unit reflecting state-of-the-art technology (read the Richmond Standard story about the new unit here for more info).
The emergency medical unit will provide critical advanced life support services to the region’s residents. This is also a chance to learn more about fire and emergency services since the signing earlier this year of a joint service agreement between the City of San Pablo and the Contra Costa Fire Protection District.
The EMS Squad Unit was partially funded by Measure K, a sales tax passed by San Pablo voters last year.
What: Community Open House – tour new EMS Squad Unit
When: 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 30
Where: Fire Station #70, 13928 San Pablo Avenue, San Pablo
Who: I’m honored to join San Pablo Mayor Kathy Chao Rothberg and
Fire Chief Jeff Carman, Contra Costa Fire Protection District
