Get ready for another summer of free live music in Point Richmond.

On Tuesday, Point Richmond Music (PRM) announced the dates and line-up for its free 2015 summer concert series that attracts top-notch musicians to the historic square.

The grassroots concert series is held on the second Friday of every month from June 12 through Sept. 25, according to PRM, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. The outdoor concert venue is located at the corner of Park Place and Washington Avenue in downtown Point Richmond.

Local restaurants are open on concert nights and every concert features activities for the whole family, including face-painting for children.

“This year’s diverse line-up of local bands has something for everyone,” said Sydney Metrick, PRM band liaison, in a statement. “We are grateful for the donations of time and funds from our volunteers and sponsors, which make this free series come to life year after year. It’s a gift from the community to the community.”
