Community Alliance Church in Richmond is inviting local families to its Summer XP event next month.

The event runs daily from June 8 through June 12 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with dinner at 5 p.m.

The theme for this year’s event is “move!” According to organizers, kids from preschool through fifth grade will be offered an opportunity to look at the lives of people in the Bible who changed direction and “moved” after encountering Jesus.

Middle and high school students and parents will be helping out at the event, making it a true family experience. Volunteers are needed to act as small group leaders and to help out in crafts and games. To register online, click here.
