Don’t have too much fun at the Cinco de Mayo parade on Saturday from Richmond to San Pablo, because the party is set to continue all weekend.

On Sunday, the 9th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on 23rd Street in Richmond between Clinton and Rheem avenues.

Expect the same family fun from past years, including food, music, live entertainment and a whole lot of dancing. The event is held by the 23rd Merchants Association and has multiple community sponsors, which are listed at the bottom of the below flyer.

The holiday commemorates the Mexican victory over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
