A unique culinary fundraiser is offering diners a multicourse tasting menu with wine pairings that will benefit Richmond’s Bay Area Rescue Mission, the nonprofit providing a wide range of services for the region’s homeless population.

Componere Fine Catering of Emeryville is launching quarterly “Cooking for a Cause” dinners that benefit local charities. The company is hosting its first dinner on March 20 where all payments from diners will be passed along to the Bay Area Rescue Mission. Componere will cover 100-percent of food and labor costs.

The dinner has already sold out, but Componere is accepting wait list reservations. Click here to reserve a spot, which are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The dinner runs from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Componere kitchen facility at 5836 San Pablo Ave.
