Richmond area residents are encouraged to bring their resumes and dress for success for a hiring fair at the Pullman Point Apartments next week.
On Thursday, March 19, community members will have the opportunity to meet and interview for various positions, including in food service, warehouse and logistics, solar-related fields and administrative roles.
The Richmond Chamber of Commerce also sent out a notice inviting city businesses to attend the fair and interview potential employees, even if the position is not yet available.
The hiring fair will run from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 2989 Pullman Ave. in Richmond.
Pullman Point Apartments partnered with Goodwill Industries of Contra Costa County to sponsor the fair.
Members of the Goodwill Industries Workforce Development Team will perform intakes and assessments of candidates to determine their eligibility for job readiness, job preparation support and placement services, program officials said.
Local businesses seeking to take part can contact Cynthia McKelvy at (510) 685-6656 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
