How cool is this? Richmond-raised TV personality Ronnie Schell will host two comedy shows in Richmond next month as a benefit for the Richmond Museum of History.

Comedians Will Durst, Kivi Rogers and David Gee are also volunteering their time and standup routines for the $30 performances, which will be April 26 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Topline Theater, 1402 Marina Way South.

Schell, 83, of Los Angeles, is a veteran comedian who played Duke Slater in his 1960s TV show Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., according to the , who interviewed him about the upcoming shows.

He returns to Richmond at least twice a year to reunite with high school pals, Treadway wrote.
