A person was shot in the 1900 block of Chanslor Avenue in Richmond about 6 p.m. Wednesday, just two hours after a man was shot in the leg at 17th and Ohio streets, police said.

The victim of the Chanslor shooting was transported to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately known and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

The victim of the shooting at 17th and Ohio street is expected to survive, according to the Contra Costa Times.

The shootings happened relatively close to a deadly shooting that occurred three days earlier. On Sunday about 3:45 p.m., 20-year-old Keven Hall was killed in a shooting that injured two others in the area of Bissell Avenue and 15th Street.

Police have not said whether any of the shootings are in any way related.
