Family and friends of Keven Hall, 20, of Richmond, who was fatally shot in his home city on March 1, have launched an online fundraising campaign to raise money for his funeral.

Sheila McEnany, a close friend of Hall’s uncle, Michael Skinner, said Hall was struck by gunfire as he was leaving a store in the area of 15th Street and Bissell Avenue about 3:45 p.m.

Hall’s 16-year-old sister was also shot and is expected to survive, while a third person who suffered bullet wounds was critically injured, McEnany said.

No arrest has been announced in connection with the deadly shooting, which police said occurred following an argument.

McEnany called the shooting “senseless” and said Hall’s uncle is devastated.

“Keven was soft-spoken, impeccably mannered, and kind person and his death has left a large void in the hearts of those who loved him,” McEnany said.

Loved ones are trying to raise $10,000 for Hall’s funeral. Those wishing to contribute or learn more about the fundraiser should visit the account here.
