Marin Clean Energy (MCE), Richmond’s alternative energy provider, is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to work in its San Rafael office.

MCE is a local government energy provider that provides 50-100% renewable energy as an alternative to PG&E’s electric supply. MCE is able to determine the source and cost of the energy while using PG&E to manage the transmission and distribution of the energy.

MCE began providing energy to Richmond customers in 2013. According to the City of Richmond’s website “MCE’s goal is to provide a greater support for renewable energy at competitive rates to Richmond residents and businesses. By choosing MCE, Richmond’s electric customers help support the development of new in-state and local renewable energy generation. “

The Administrative Assistant will work under the Internal Operations coordinator and is expected to provide clerical administrative duties. For more information about the position, see the job listing below.
