A Fairfield man has been arrested on charges of attempted murder and domestic violence in connection with a shooting in unincorporated San Pablo on Saturday that injured a woman, sheriff’s deputies said.

The shooting occurred about 1:52 p.m. in the 15600 block of Crestwood Drive, according to the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff.

Responding deputy sheriffs found the woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to John Muir Medical Center and is in stable condition.

Detectives later identified 23-year-old Corey Hollie as the suspect and arrested him in Fairfield with assistance from Fairfield police.

Hollie was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility, not only on charges of attempted murder and domestic violence but also a probation violation. He is being held on no bail status.
