A man was killed after being hit by a BART train at Richmond Station early Tuesday, according to Bay City News.

A BART officer discovered the body at 1:06 a.m., just before BART service ceased for the night, BART police said.

The man, who hasn’t been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police planned to review video from the train and station to determine how the person ended up on the tracks.

The incident did not disrupt service during the morning commute Tuesday.
