Richmond Excellence Serving our Community (ESC), the City of Richmond’s impact volunteering program, is seeking a ‘Community Service Associate’ intern for its newly awarded “Love Your Block” initiative. The position is funded through the AmeriCorps VISTA internship program,  which comes with a monthly stipend, full benefits, a travel voucher, professional development training, conference attendances, and an education award at the end of the internship.

Earlier this month, Richmond was chosen as one of seven U.S. cities to win a $30,000 Love Your Block grant that,  with the help of a dedicated full-time AmeriCorps VISTA member,  will support efforts to engage Richmond citizens to increase participation in neighborhood revitalization efforts.

ESC is requesting that local talent apply for the position. See the job description below for additional details.
