Three men have been arrested in connection with the robbery and shooting of a clerk at a San Pablo convenience store last week, police said.

Oakland residents Mario Halterman, 27, and Samson Tatum Jr., 40, and Concord resident Samson Eugene Tatum III, 21, of  Concord are facing a number of charges in connection with the Jan. 21 incident at Bonfare Market at 1321 23rd St.

Tatum was arrested Tuesday and the other two Wednesday, police said.

On the night of the shooting, officers arrived at Bonfare Market about 11:44 p.m. and found one store clerk suffering from gunshot wounds and another uninjured. The clerk was seriously injured but is expected to survive.
