NIAD Art Center, the Richmond art program for people with developmental disabilities, will hold its annual fundraiser at Clif Bar & Company’s Emeryville headquarters, and all attendees will take home a piece of original art.

Mark your calendars for this great event: It will be held Saturday, March 28 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 1451 66th St. in Emeryville.

For the fundraiser, entitled Win Win 3, NIAD has commissioned more than 100 local and national artists to produce paintings, photographs, sculptures, fibers and drawings in a standard 6-inch by 6-inch format.

All the artwork is numbered to match a correspondingly numbered admission ticket. After purchasing a ticket, attendees will have it numbered as they show up for the party. The ticket holder can then scan all of the paintings to find the one with their corresponding number – that’s the art they get to take home at the end of the night.

The event will also feature live jazz from Night Owl Trio, light refreshments (including local urban craft beer), a photo booth and a special film screening of a new movie about NIAD artists.

Admission is $30 per person for a randomly chosen piece of art, $60 per person for one piece of art pre-chosen by you in advance. For tickets and more information, please telephone 510-602-0290 or niadart.org/win3.
