Salesian College Prep softball star Meghan Bradbury has signed a national letter of intent to play for the University of California, Davis next year, the high school announced Tuesday.

The senior infielder won first-team all-league and all-state honors while contributing to a Pride team that finished 18-1 last season and captured the 2014 North Coast Section Division IV title.

Bradbury is Salesian’s first senior this year to commit to play for a major collegiate athletic program.

“Meghan is an outstanding individual both athletically and academically,” Chad Nightingale, Salesian’s athletic director, said in a statement. “She can do it all on the softball field, has a high GPA and is a tremendous competitor. I know she will excel at UC Davis.”
