The community is invited to Crestmont School on Saturday (Nov. 8) to take part in free family fun at the annual Swap & Shop Harvest Festival, which will feature a free magic show.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school, located at 6226 Arlington Blvd. in Richmond.

Attendees are encouraged to bring gently used children’s clothing and books for exchange or trade. But don’t fret if you can’t find anything to bring.

“You do not need to bring anything in order to participate,” said Akiko Ziegler, the parent of a Crestmont student.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and the whole family will have fun with games, raffle prizes, crafts and work from local artisans. Free children’s activities, including a magic show at 12:30 p.m., will also be offered.

“We hope to see you there!” Ziegler said.
