The winter holidays haven’t come too soon at Richmond’s NIAD Art Center, which is hosting an opening reception for Deck the Walls 2 this Saturday.

The reception runs from 12:30-3 p.m. at the art center located at 551 23rd St. and features live jazz from Tom Weimer’s Quinticism. Handmade cookies will be served, a long with a ton of great art.

“We are packing the gallery full of works on paper – hundreds of drawings – from most of our artists,” organizers said.

All drawings regardless of size, medium or artist will be just $40.

The show runs through Dec. 23.
