The Richmond Standard encourages the community to attend Saturday’s 11th annual North Richmond Shoreline Festival, which is free for all and filled with exciting family activities, several nature-oriented.

The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline Park (5551 Giant Highway) and will include food, entertainment, activities for children and also a chance to get closer to the environment. Bird watching, fishing and nature walks are on the itinerary.

The event is hosted by the North Richmond Shoreline Open Space Alliance and co-sponsored by the East Bay Regional Parks District, City of Richmond, San Pablo Economic Development and Groundwork Richmond.
