Starting Monday, Chevron will begin accepting applications for Operator Trainee positions at its Richmond refinery, the company announced Wednesday.

Interested applicants should go here on Monday to create a profile and apply. Applications can be submitted through Nov. 17 (no later than 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 17).

To locate the Operator Trainee positions, select “jobs in the United States” and search by requisition number 006139759.

Those without Internet access at home can use community resources, including the Richmond Public Library, to apply.

Chevron Richmond said it hopes Richmond residents apply, as it is “committed to increasing local hiring in Richmond by 50-percent over the next five years.”

The company is working with local unions and funding training initiatives so residents can become job ready.
