AC Transit will hold a public hearing in Richmond on Oct. 23 in the hope that residents will come forward with ideas on how to improve bus service.

The public hearing will be held at Richmond Main Library, 325 Civic Center Plaza, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Feedback is also being collected through surveys and public forums, part of AC Transit’s goal of allowing “each neighborhood to have a hand in shaping the bus service that runs along their streets,” General Manager David Armijo said in a statement.

Richmond is one of seven cities where the transit agency is holding public meetings.
