Richmond residents who haven’t been watching football on Saturdays may very well start following a recent announcement from UCLA head coach Jim Mora.

According to Mora, former Kennedy High star Takkarist McKinley could play 10 to 15 snaps of this Saturday’s game at Arizona State University.

McKinley, a speedy 6-foot-4, 235-pound defensive end who most recently played at Contra Costa College, signed a letter of intent only last week to play for UCLA.

“It’s a good time to use him,” Mora told news outlets. “He can give us 10-15 snaps a game, and we’re excited about him.”
