A SWAT team and police negotiators were summoned Tuesday night after a Richmond man accused of trying to stab his neighbor refused to come out of his apartment, police told Bay City News.

The suspect, identified as Wilson Ceda, was reportedly intoxicated when he allegedly attacked his neighbor in the 2200 block of Ohio Avenue with a knife. Ceda and the neighbor have an ongoing dispute, Bay City News reported.

When police responded to the scene about 9:30 p.m., Ceda locked himself in his apartment. He did not come out until after police negotiators and a SWAT team became involved, police said.

He was arrested and no injuries were reported.
