Get ready for another full year of amazing jazz music in Point Richmond.

The first concert of the 2014-15 Point Richmond Jazz Concert Series is set to take place Oct. 24 at the First United Methodist Church (201 Marina St.) with a performance from Jason Anick and Rhythm Future. Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door.

The concert series featuring jazz violinists takes place at the same church on the fourth Friday of every month from October to May. (full schedule of concerts is posted below).

The series is held by Point Richmond Jazz, a group founded by jazz violinist Kit Eakle that also offers workshops and classes for jazz violinists. For more information, visit the Point Richmond Jazz website.
